Storm Damage – Lenoir
Storm damage at this Lenoir medical facility resulted when huge sections of the roof were torn away from the building by the high winds associated with the storm. The missing roof sections allowed a great deal of rainwater into the building. SERVPRO of Alexander & Caldwell Counties was called to place emergency tarps on the roof to stem the flow of water into the building. We accomplished that task, but a significant amount of water had already damaged the facility. We got busy cleaning up the water with trailer mounted extraction equipment. Once the standing water was removed, we began the drying process with commercial air movers and dehumidifiers.
