Hurricane Flooding in Morganton, NC
While most of Hurricane Florence's destruction was in the eastern and central regions of our state, we did feel some of its effects in Morganton. In fact, heavy rain flooded this large commercial building and affected over 4,000 sq. ft.
Our technicians responded and immediately assessed the damage before beginning the extraction process. Due to the extent of the flooding, our technicians also had to create flood cuts along the base of the affected walls to get to the hidden moisture. We deployed several air movers and dehumidifiers to speed up the drying process, and we applied an antimicrobial spray to mitigate the risk of mold growth. The owners were happy to resume their normal operations!
