Flood Contaminated Clothing from a Wilmington School

Hurricane Florence created substantial damage in eastern North Carolina, and one of the most affected towns was Wilmington, NC. After the storm subsided, some of our team went to Wilmington to help with the recovery process.

While they were there, they assisted a local school that had significant flooding. As you can see in the before photo, the contaminated flood waters soiled the school's uniforms. And if that wasn't bad enough, some of the uniforms had mold growth as a result of sitting in water for so long.

Fortunately, we were able to send their uniforms back to our state-of-the-art textiles cleaning facility for a thorough washing. The picture on the right is the result!
